The Midwest Facial Plastic Center (MWFPC) was founded by Dr. Jay Dutton with the mission to provide preeminent care in Facial Practice and Reconstructive Surgery in suburban Chicago. Dr. Dutton specializes in the face – and only the face – with the belief that due to the extreme complexity of facial anatomy, patients are best served by a surgeon who has devoted his practice to facial procedures. Dr. Dutton founded the MWFPC after a background in Otolaryngology, a surgical field involving all aspects of head & neck surgery including facial plastic surgery. He completed post-graduate fellowship training in rhinology and facial plastic surgery.

Surgeon Description

Dr. Dutton came to Chicago in 1999 from Iowa, where he was selected as Chief Resident at the #1 program in America in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. He became board certified in Otolaryngology in 2000, which included testing and certification in facial plastic surgery. He then completed his fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery and Rhinology in 1999 and has been practicing Facial Plastic Surgery and Otolaryngology since that time. Dr. Dutton is also board-certified in Facial Plastic Surgery and is a diplomate of the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery, an honor that requires several years of documented surgeries and rigorous written and oral testing based on knowledge of the literature in the field. There are only slightly more than one thousand surgical specialists who are diplomates of this Board nationally.
