From the moment you enter our office in Fredericksburg, you become an integral part of a great team of professionals whose mission is to help you achieve your goals. You will be paired with a board certified surgeon who will work closely with you to obtain a thorough understanding of your needs and desires. Once this is achieved, we can determine the course of action to deliver optimal results.

To ensure that you understand all the factors involved in its proceedings, and to provide examples of improvements that are possible, you are encouraged to review photos of Plastic Surgery Services of Fredericksburg patients who have undergone the same procedure. We can even arrange for you to talk to them, if desired.

Each of the many staff members in your team will play an important role, answer questions and guide you through the entire process-from initial consultation to the day you achieve full recovery, and beyond. We also offer ongoing training in lifestyle modification that may be necessary to help maintain the results of your procedure.

Our patient coordinator serves as liaison with current and future patients. This person is a valuable resource dedicated to providing their experience to be as positive as possible.

SURGON DESCRIPTION

A Renowned Plastic Surgeon in Fredericksburg Dr. Howard Heppe was born in 1957 in Montclair, New Jersey and his family moved to Fairfax, VA in 1962. During high school, he competed on the gymnastics team and continued with the sport in college. He received his BA with honors from the University of Virginia and earned his medical degree there as well in 1983.

Dr. Heppe completed his surgical internship and surgical residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, and his residency in plastic surgery at the Medical Center of Georgetown University in Washington DC. With the emphasis on cosmetic surgery at Georgetown University, he had the opportunity to train with outstanding leaders in the plastic surgery industry. He also received instruction in drawing and aesthetic analysis.

In the early 1990’s Dr. Heppe was an instructor at the Medical Center and Georgetown University Medical Center at Howard University in Washington.

During the past years, Dr. Heppe has traveled several times to Latin America on charity missions. He has given numerous presentations on topics of plastic surgery at medical conferences throughout the United States and Canada, and has published several articles. Dr. Heppe attends national meetings and conferences to learn new techniques of cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Heppe is a member of the American College of Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a diplomat of the National Medical Examiners.

Dr. Heppe joined the Plastic Surgery Services of Fredericksburg in 1991 and has privileges at Mary Washington Hospital, Stafford Hospital and Spotsylvania Regional.
