From the moment you enter our office in Fredericksburg, you become an integral part of a great team of professionals whose mission is to help you achieve your goals. You will be paired with a board certified surgeon who will work closely with you to obtain a thorough understanding of your needs and desires. Once this is achieved, we can determine the course of action to deliver optimal results.

To ensure that you understand all the factors involved in its proceedings, and to provide examples of improvements that are possible, you are encouraged to review photos of Plastic Surgery Services of Fredericksburg patients who have undergone the same procedure. We can even arrange for you to talk to them, if desired.

Each of the many staff members in your team will play an important role, answer questions and guide you through the entire process-from initial consultation to the day you achieve full recovery, and beyond. We also offer ongoing training in lifestyle modification that may be necessary to help maintain the results of your procedure.

Our patient coordinator serves as liaison with current and future patients. This person is a valuable resource dedicated to providing their experience to be as positive as possible.

SURGON DESCRIPTION

Dr. Bautista was born in Manila, Philippines, and was raised in suburban New York City, where he eventually did his surgical training.

He earned his BA, magna cum laude, from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. Dr. Bautista received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1986.

He completed his residency in plastic surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the Medical Center of Nassau County in New York under the instruction of Long Island Plastic Surgery, Inc., the largest group of plastic surgeons in the United States . This group of 12 surgeons provided to Dr. Bautista Extensive experience in aesthetic surgery, breast augmentation, body contouring and facial aesthetics.  Dr. Bautista also completed his residency in general surgery at the Medical Center of Nassau County.

Dr. Bautista is acting Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Mary Washington Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has recently proven his dedication to maintaining his knowledge base in his chosen specialty by passing a recertification examination given by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in April 2004. He joined the Plastic Surgery Services of Fredericksburg in 1993 and has privileges at Mary Washington Hospital, Stafford Hospital and Spotsylvania Regional.

Dr. Bautista has served as a volunteer surgeon for Operation Smile and The Smile Train. He maintains proficiency in his specialty by maintaining active membership in, (ASAPS) The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (www.surgery.org) and (ASPS) American Society of Plastic Surgeons (www.plasticsurgery.org).
