Labiaplasty  Surgeons

The plastic surgery procedure labiaplasty is designed to reduce the size and shape of the patient’s labia or vaginal lips. This surgery can either focus on the inner labia, the outer labia or both. When the procedure is done in conjunction with vaginoplasty it is referred to as vaginal rejuvenation.

To perform the operation, the surgeon will sedate the patient before using either a scalpel or specially designed laser to remove part of the inner and or outer labia. The patient will then begin the recovery process. Patients who have labiaplasty performed on them should abstain from any strenuous activity for the first 3-4 days. There will be some mild discomfort in the area. Sexual activity cannot be resumed until anywhere from 4-6 weeks after the operation. Each individual patient’s recovery time will differ so it is important to discuss your recovery with the surgeon performing the operation.

The cost of labiaplasty will usually run from around $5,000-$8,000. This cost can vary due to the location of the operation, the individual patient needs and the surgeon who is performing the operation. When having vaginal rejuvenation performed you can expect the price to increase around $3,000-5,000.
