Dr. Kumar received his undergraduate degree in Economics from University of Georgia. He went on to obtain his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his research fellowship in Plastic, Reconstructive and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University.

Dr Kumar received comprehensive training in Plastic Surgery at Medical College of Wisconsin including cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of face, breast and body. Dr Kumar was re-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 2014 and continues to advance his knowledge in the changing and exciting field of Plastic Surgery.
